We celebrated the International Nelson Mandela Day in a grand style, the event held on the 18th of July 2022 at Epic Visual Studios. The event started with the screening of the movie, “Long Walk to Freedom.” The event was graced with representatives of International and National organizations, Embassies and Private Firms.
The keynote speaker Anne Pratt gave an intriguing lecture on the topic “Women’s Role in Leading Boldly into the Future; Mandela Leadership Blueprint.” Her session was thought provoking and insightful.
Also in attendance were brilliant spoken word artists, Berry Bullet and Pelemo Nyajo both of whom delivered a premium spoken words performance that was well received by the audience.
Biodun Ibrahim from ART56 Studios was also on the stage to deliver a masterpiece through his spectacular speed-paint art. Biodun’s finished art of Mandela was one of the highlights of the event, the response of the audience to the finished work was exhilarating.
Our Founder, Mr. Balema Meshack-Hart moderated the insightful and educative panel session that had Osasu Igbinedion, Maupe Ogun and Amina Ahmed Hamzat as panelists. The topic “Women’s Role in Leading Boldly into the Future; Mandela Leadership Blueprint” was discussed by the Panelists and members of the audience had an interactive session with the panelists.
